Make those count! The same goes for gold boosters. Run those trial levels until you have what you need and by then you should be able to craft a piece or two of gear on your own.ĭon't use XP boosters unless you have the appropriate gear on. Salvage the garbage you don't want (at some point this will be every piece of gear unless it's a set item or fits some niche you really want to have).

Just run a lower trial, beat it, then run it again. Greater Essences are not plentiful but when you can clear a Trial in 2 minutes and get three Epics (with a roll on Legendary) with a ~20% chance to drop a set item, you'll see how quickly you can get the gear you want. But once you start the climb it becomes easier. Once you pass trial 70, you're guaranteed 3 legendaries each run. Run whichever trial that is highest you can run in sub 4 minutes. I just saved up gems and unlocked extra character slots.ĬL is really important to advancing in trials. I also found it more fun to parse out different characters for different purposes - an XP grinder with +xp to all gear, a gold farmer with +gold to all gear, a trial pusher, etc. To work on getting the apprentice set - work on grinding through all of story mode until legendary, then farm Morgenheim (middle of the way through Act 4 for gold and jewels to buy the gear for you to craft. You get to make custom legendary gear specific to your needs.

The next round of ANB should be starting in the next two weeks or so. When you participate in the A New Beginning (ANB) events, it's much easier to get geared up because of the milestone rewards you get. I felt the same way when I first started - because i started my first character during non event time.
